About Us
My name is Kim and my husband is Shane. We started Wolf Freedom Coffee to combine two passions... wolves and coffee. Shane is a Colorado native, and I'm a Jersey Girl transplanted to Colorado in December 2003. I love animals and nature, and I have the inner spirit of a wolf. I believe humans could learn a lot (if they were actually open-minded) from the wolf pack, its hierarchy and way of life. (We have three low-content wolfdogs at home as our personal pack.)
I've been affiliated with the wolf/wolfdog community since 2007. We have three low-content wolfdogs at home, and I have lost three over the years. They are amazing! Unfortunately, some people have gotten in over their heads (lack of research, education, and/or wrong circumstances) by adopting a wolfdog, and that animal winds up in rescue or a shelter, and some euthanized. Sanctuaries are limited and rarely taken in a new animal. It's a sad circle, always leaving the animal at the short end of the stick.
And rescues, like all 501c(3)'s are able to operate on donations. So, we are committed to helping who we can through our coffee and other items.
We've tried about 18 of our coffees and have found they ALL have a nice smooth finish - no bitter aftertaste or acidity. And our flavored coffees are not sweet, but are flavored and balanced. My husband suffers from acid reflux, but not with Wolf Freedom Coffees. Some of our faves... Bali Blue, Mexican Chocolate, Cowboy Blend, Pecan Pie, Ethiopian Natural... So, give our coffee a try - they really are awesome! And help a good cause along the way.
Thanks for your support.
